Eligibility criteria for the post of Sub Inspector under the Railway Protection Force in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows.
Educational Qualification:
- SI – One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized University.
Age Limit:
- SI – The applicants should be at least 20 years and not exceed 25.
There will be upper-age relaxation for OBC, SC/ST, and OBC for 10 years, respectively.

- The total duration of the examination is 90 minutes, with a total of 120 multiple-choice questions.

- Negative marking will be applied at the rate of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.
- Marks will be normalized for Computer Based Tests conducted in multiple shifts.
