Bihar BCECE 2024 Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the date for the Bihar exam, allowing interested candidates to read the notification and apply online after completing all eligibility criteria.

The BCECE Board (BCECEB) is inviting online applications for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) 2024, aiming to select candidates for admission into Pharmacy, Medical, Agriculture, and Engineering streams, starting from 19th April 2024.

Bihar BCECE 2024 Overview

The BCECE 2024 test is a traditional pen-and-paper exam that will be conducted in both English and Hindi. The test will consist of multiple-choice questions. Candidates will have a total of 90 minutes to complete the exam, which will include 100 questions.

Bihar BCECE 2024 Application Fee

• BCECE 2024 Application Fee will be submitted online and offline mode.
• Candidates will be able to submit the form using credit card, debit card, and Net Banking.

Bihar BCECE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BCECE 2024 are provided below:

For Engineering course:

• Domicile: The candidates must have a domicile certificate from Bihar state to be eligible.
• Qualification: Candidate must qualify 12^th class or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• Applicants who have valid scores in JEE Main are also eligible to apply for the exam.
• Subjects: In the qualifying exam candidate must pass Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
• Marks: The minimum marks candidate must score at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST).

For Pharmacy courses:

• Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidate must be 16 years as of 31^st December 2024.
• Qualification: The candidate must pass the 12^th level or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Subject: In the qualifying exam candidate must pass in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) subject.
• Marks: To be eligible candidate must score at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).

BCECE 2024 Application Form

The BCECE 2024 Application form is available for download, with key instructions provided below.

• The Application form for BCECE 2024 will be available through online mode.
• Candidates must fill the application form with details such as personal, and academic details, contact details, etc.
• BCECE 2024 Application Form will be released in the third week of May 2024.
• Upload the scanned signature and photographs in the prescribed size and format to complete the application form.
• While filling in the details candidates must review all the filled details as no correction facility will be provided to the candidates.
• The last date to submit the application form will be the first week of June 2024.
• Candidates must take the printout of the application form for future reference.

BCECE 2024 Exam Pattern

The questions will be objective type with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four answer options. Each paper will carry 100 questions of four marks each. There will be a negative marking scheme of one mark for each wrong answer. Hence, the total marks of the paper will be 400 marks.

BCECE 2024 Admit Card

The BCECE Admit Card will be released online in June 2024, containing details like the candidate’s name, father’s name, category, venue, date, and date of birth, and can be downloaded using login credentials.

Admit cards are required for examinations, as they are only available to registered candidates and will only be released upon the examination day.

BCECE 2023 Answer Key

The answer key aims to assist students with correct answers, allowing them to check their performance and estimate scores before declaring results. Candidates will receive +4 marks for correct answers and -1 marks for incorrect responses.

The candidate’s expected score, calculated using an answer key, determines their chances of admission to their preferred college. The BCECE 2023 cut-off marks are the qualifying marks prescribed by the examining authority. Candidates must score at least equal to the cutoff marks to avoid admission. The BCECE 2023 Result can only be checked online after the successful written test.

BCECE 2024 Result

The BCECE result will be announced in the second week of July 2024 online, based on the candidate’s entrance exam performance.
