The Bihar Public Service Commission conducted the Assistant Education Development Officer exam in 9 shifts from 14 April 2026 to 21 April 2026, but the exam cancelled(with multiple dates in this window). As per the Official Notice issued on 01 May 2026, the commission has barred 32 candidates from appearing in any future examinations. The exam process faced multiple complaints related to unfair practices, and the commission made this decision after reviewing those complaints.

BPSC AEDO Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
Bihar AEDO selection is a one-stage process that determines a candidate’s fitness for the position of Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO). The selection procedure consists of the following stages.
Stage 1 – Written Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the BPSC AEDO written exam to shortlist eligible candidates for Assistant Education Development Officer posts. The written exam will be held in offline mode.
Stage 2 – Document Verification Process: The exam authority will invite qualified applicants from the written test to participate in the document verification process, during which they will verify the candidate’s certificate.
BPSC Assistant Education Development Officer Exam Pattern 2025
