The Bihar School Examination Board has set eligibility criteria for the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha Phase 2 examination, offering an opportunity for candidates who failed the first competency test to reappear for the second test.

• Those candidates who have applied and paid for the phase 1 competency test but due to some reasons were unable to appear on examination day are eligible for this phase examination.
• Candidates who failed in competency test (first) are also eligible for the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha phase 2 examination.
•  Those teacher candidates who have passed the first competency test and are allotted with the first option district but are not satisfied with their allotment can also appear again in the second phase to score better marks.
• Teacher candidates who are not satisfied with their second/ third option district allotment after passing the first competency test can appear again for this examination.
• Teachers/Librarians who have been working in primary/middle/secondary/higher-secondary schools of Bihar state by the local body are also eligible for the competency test (second).
