CBSE Junior Assistant & Superintendent Exam 2025 Selection Process

The CBSE’s selection procedure for CBSE Recruitment 2025 includes several steps. Applicants will be selected based on Tier 1 and a skill exam, whereas applicants for superintendent positions must go through Tiers 1 and 2, and a skill test.

  • Tier 1: The Tier 1 exam consists of objective-type MCQs
  • Tier 2: The Tier 2 exam will be held for superintendent posts, consisting of objective-type (OMR-based) and descriptive (written) examinations.
  • Skill Test: Based on the candidates’ performance in the Tier-1/Tier-2 exam, the candidates will be called for the Skill Test. The skill test/typing test is qualifying in nature, and no marks will be counted for the final merit list.

CBSE Exam Pattern 2025 for Tier 1

  • The CBSE Superintendent Tier 1 exam is an objective (MCQ) type (OMR-based) examination.
    In the Tier 1 test, 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) will be asked for a total of 450 marks.
    The exam will last two hours.
  • Three marks will be awarded for each correct response, while one mark will be deducted for each erroneous answer.
  • The Tier 1 test will be senior secondary.

CBSE Junior Superintendent Exam Pattern 2025 for Tier 2

  • The CBSE Tier 2 exam consists of an objective (OMR-based) and descriptive (written) examination.
  • The exam will last three hours.
  • The Tier 2 exam will be administered at the graduating level.
  • In CBSE Junior Superintendent Tier 2 objective type part 3, marks shall be provided for every right answer. For each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
  • To qualify for the exam, candidates must obtain a minimum of 30% on each component of the question paper, which is objective (OMR) type and descriptive (written).

CBSE Junior Assistant Exam Pattern 2025

  • The CBSE Junior Assistant Exam is divided into 5 parts, namely General Knowledge, Reasoning and Mathematical Ability, General Hindi and English, Basic Knowledge of Computers, Awareness of School education, etc.
  • The exam consists of objective multiple-choice OMR-based questions.
  • A total of 100 questions will be asked for a total of 300 marks.
  • For every correct answer, 3 marks will be provided, and there will be a negative marking. 1 mark shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • The language of the question paper will be bilingual, i.e., both in Hindi and English.
  • The level of the exam will be senior secondary.
