JTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria details for the Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 for Papers I and II are available below. In order to get selected in the recruitment of JTET, candidates must fulfill the Eligibility Criterion given by the JAC. Age Limit
- Paper 1- A candidate must have turned at least 18 years, and there is no cap for upper age.
- Paper 2- One age must be at least 21 years, and there is no provision of an upper age limit.
Education Qualification
- Paper 1- Candidates must have passed their intermediate examination with a total of 50% in aggregate.
- Paper 2- Candidates must have done their 2-year diploma/bachelor’s program in Elementary Education
JTET 2026 Exam Pattern
JTET 2026 Paper I will be conducted for a total of 200 marks and will be conducted as an OMR-Based examination. For every correct answer, candidates will be rewarded +1.
