JNV Class 9th Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the JNV online application form for 9th class, the student must fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If a student doesn’t meet the required eligibility criteria, their admission will stand to be canceled, and they won’t be able to get admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.

The Eligibility Criteria for JNV class 9th entrance on vacant seats include age, class, previous education & no attempts permitted. The following are the eligibility criteria for Class 9th NVS.

JNVST Class 9th Age Limit-

To be eligible for the JNVST Class 9th exam, the date of Birth of the candidate must be between 1st May 2011 to 31st July 2013 (both days inclusive). This applies to all categories of candidates, including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes.

Only those candidates who have studied in Class-8 in one of the Govt./Govt. Recognized schools of the district where the JNV is functioning are eligible to take admission into the JNV Class 9th.

JNV Class 9th Reservation

The existing vacant seats in the SC/ST/OBC category, as per the notification, will be reserved for SC/ST students.
