To apply for the UP BEd JEE exam 2024, the candidate must be an Indian citizen. Before applying for the UP Bed application form, candidates should carefully read the UP BEd JEE Eligibility Criteria.
- Candidates from the General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. OR
- Candidates with a BE/B. Tech degrees in Mathematics and Science should have at least 55% aggregate marks.
- Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled (ST) categories must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university. However, there is no minimum mark requirement.

UP B.Ed 2024 | Exam Pattern
The UP Bed 2024 exam is administered offline in two shifts, one in the morning and one in the evening. Both papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2, of the UP Bed 2024 exam consist of 200 Objective-type Questions. Each paper takes 3 hours to complete, for a total of 6 hours. Each paper has four sections divided into two sections.
- Total Marks: 200 for each paper
- Each Question carries 2 marks
- Negative Marking:1/3 marks
- The Paper will be in 2 Parts.
- Part 1 is compulsory for all
- Part 2 is based on language, i.e., Hindi or English, and a special category i.e. Science/Arts/Commerce/Agriculture.
